I am Cynthia Bagamsah, a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner who specializes in managing acute and chronic illness in the adult and elderly population. My approach to patient care is based on treating the whole person. I work closely with all my patients to ensure their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs are addressed. Ensuring patient safety and satisfaction form the cornerstone of my practice, and the happiness of my patients and their family remain my greatest reward. I take my time to listen to my patients, in order to provide excellent care.
I furnished my medical expertise at Walden University where I graduated with a Master of Science Degree, and Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner in 2021. I also obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Notre Dame of Maryland University in 2014, and my Associate Degree in Nursing at Harford Community College in 2009.
Prior to my current position, I hold 15 years of healthcare experience as a Registered Nurse at the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Hospital, and 3 years of experience as an Adult Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at Blue Zone Healthcare, Eastern Shore Primary Care and Transformation Center for weight Loss respectively.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my Husband and three children. Traveling and watching movies are my hobbies.
